  Normally I go to the reviews to read about the cafe I’m going to if I’ve not been, and I did read a few recent bad reviews about this cafe but decided to try for ourselves. We were greeted in a friendly manner and told we could take a seat anywhere we liked and we would be brought our menu’s which we were within 1 minute. We ordered our coffees straight away and then when they arrived we ordered some wedges. The wait staff were very friendly and none of the ladies made an effort to engage with us about our 1 year old who didn’t want to sit still in the pram and wanted to wonder about. She offered us a high chair and it helped alot. She was so lovely and friendly and we had a really nice experience all round. Would definitely come here again. We also enjoyed the wedges, they were nice and crispy.

  Been here a couple of times, the coffee is okay, and the food pretty good generally.
  But came here a couple of weekends ago and asked to sit outside which they thought was weird but let us go. We asked for the cushions on the chairs which was met with a bit of disdain. We were then given menus and told they would come back to take out or order. 15 minutes later and after watching several new customers come in, be seated and orders taken and coffee recieved we got up and left. They had clearly forgotten about us. In this day and age that isn't good enough especially when the cafe isn't busy.

  Came here with friends on the weekend and once againnthe service was poor.
  We were greeted by the manager when we walked in and was seated really quickly. From there it went downhill. From the drinks order being wrong, not just in the amount of drinks but the type of drinks. Ordered a latte but recieved a capacchino, and then was told "there isn't any difference" by the waitstaff (Jess). We then asked for a couple of minutes to order food. We had to wave her down to order 25 minutes later so we also ordered more drinks. So now we are sitting with fresh drinks and all the empty glasses and cups and the food arrives making our table packed to the rafters. Still not one empty glass was taken hence I had no room to eat my meal.
  As for my meal I ordered the chicken pesto focaccia with chips, the chips were almost cold but the focaccia was just a hot dog roll. Needless to say it was very underwhelming. My partner got poached eggs and one was poached perfectly the other was a hard boiled egg.
  While the food and service wasn't good the attitude of the server was appalling and you could tell she really didn't want to be there.

  Thanks to Melissa and Prince at The Nook for hosting our work event tonight. We received great feedback from all our guests who commented on the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. The cocktail menu and platters were delicious and I'm especially grateful for being able to arrange everything on short notice. Will be back!

  My partner and I had breakfast here yesterday with our 1 year old baby for the first time. Lovely staff who greeted us when entering and were so kind throughout.
  Food and coffee came out in good time and the wedges were delicious!
  A staff member also helped us with a baby high chair without us even asking for one.
  Will visit again.

  Came in 2:30 pm knowing they close at 3 pm , I ask are you still open for breakfast, the staff member said yes we close in half hour but she seems to be annoyed that we came in at that time …
  I place the order after 5 minutes to the same staff member who seems even more annoyed then before and with no manners at all … the breakfast came out 2:53 and at 2:58 they told us they were about to close , so my point is that first of all have some customer service skill
  Like at least a smile doesn’t hurt when you serving people , second if you can’t or don’t feel like serving people just tell them that breakfast is closed and you do t serve any more food .. don’t give them 5 minutes to eat and especially don’t have the attitude that you had .., if you get people’s money treat them fairly and don’t make them feel uncomfortable.
  We will never be back , awful experience
